Do you think it is stupid...?

Question:to paint a room in an apartment that you are moving out of in March of 2008 and have to paint it back?

Answers:
No! You have to live there for a year, you should have it the way you like!!

Maybe hang sheets on the wall rather than painting and repainting. I'm not into decorating so I am not much help.
I would not waste my time.
NO it's not
a liitle bit but if you want to exert the effort i say go for it.
No, not too stupid... if you really want a change. Depending on room size, the cost and time required is minimal. Good luck making your decision!
I wouldn't do it. Painting is hard work and you will have to do it twice.
I would let one painting do the trick If you aren't moving until March 2008 why not wait until about Feb. 2008 to paint it.?
it's not stupid. but i wouldn't waste time and money painting and repainting it. why don't you just hang posters or something, to change the look.?? just a suggestion :)
not if u don't mind painting.

y not try either clearance material at fabric strores on one or 2 walls & put up w/ cornstartch paste. Then u can pull it down & all u have to do is clean the area where the paste was.
No. Life is too short to not enjoy it. I know that as far as I'm concerned, I don't consider painting a big hassle and it's the most cost-effective way to decorate. I also know that if the room was painted yellow (which I HATE), I'd definitely paint, even if I had to paint it back again in a couple of months, let alone a year! I need to feel good in my space... if painting a room is all it takes, then I say go for it!

If you think it's too much of a hassle, have you considered just painting one wall in the room?
Yes, because you will have to change it back before you leave or the rental office will take it out of your deposit.
Depends, do you have a lot of time? Are you going to have someone else paint it for you? How much do you care about it? Me personally I am fortunate that I don't live paycheck to paycheck and I could afford to have someone paint it for me. I am also pretty anal about my decor so I would have it painted and get it done in one day.I tend to care about how my house looks more than what I have to go through to get it there!
I would paint...go with a neutral color so you wont have to paint it back. Then you can use colorful curtains to compensate for the color you may have really wanted to paint it.
