What materials do I need?
Question:I am dividing my bedroom with curtains. What is the best wire and anchor combination for solid support? Just to give you an idea of what I am trying to pull off. Imagine a rectangle divided in half vertically, then the left side of the rectangle is divided again horizontally, making a sideways "T". I am wanting to connect from one wall to another with the vertical wire and from wall to wire, horizontally, meaning there has to be enough support from that wire to hold that weight of the perpendectular line, plus the weight of the curtains. My room will be divided into 3 sections. Is there a way to do this, or will I need to look into a "pole" of some sort to carry that weight?
Answers:
3/16 cable and a 4 eye hooks . you will also need 4 bolts to hold the line to the wall, the look like mini horse shoes.last you will need something to make the cable tight, this is call a tensioner. it has 2 hooks and a piece of metal that holds them together. this will attach to your cable and an eye hook, when you get the cable attached turn both sides of the tensioner until cable is tight. no need for a pole but will make some ugly holes in the walls!
