Faux wood ceiling?
Question:where can i find faux or foam wood to cover my popcorn ceiling (not beams, they would need to cover the whole ceiling) thanks!

1x6 toungue and groove pine is a good solution, and its stainable, make sure you mark your joists so you can screw them into the rafters though, after the first course, the rest just trimming, and hanging. Cedar is also available, but pine is less costly.
digital is right...great idea...i have done the same with tongue and groove pine covering ugly walls that used to be covered with blown insulation.
a relativly new and easy way is to use a fuax wood drop cieling. Attached is a link to an installer, only because they have some good pictures. I am sure you can find a local distributor and, if your handy, do it yourself.
