Answers:
so how about a dusty purple/lavender or turquoise/teal. grey/silver grey

U could paint 2 walls one color & the others a shade lighter/darker or anthr color say.. teal & dusty purple.

then do u want the doors/molding to stand out? IF so, then paint them the opposite color that u painted that wall that it is on. IF not, then paint it the same color.

If u can, opt for semi-gloss for the molding & doors to clean better but if $ is the problem, then u can use clear acrylic varnish over the molding/& door esp where u would touch then it would wipe off better. Lightplate switches/door handles.. molding. It comes matte/semi-gloss finish as well which is good b/c it would blend in to whatever paint u use.

If u'r not liking the black ceiling... then don't use any more black in ur rm so it will distract from it as mch as poss. U want to c u'r walls & accessories over the ceiling.

What's your favorite color? Use a tepid shade of that and a lighter shade for the trim. What kind of door? If it has spacers, you could paint the outsides the darker and the insides lighter... or vice versa. Good luck!
Just my 2 cents.
Anything. I would say lighter colors though.lightblue pink yellow purple
pink!!!!!!!
i would say scarlet or brownish red would look gud. You can also paint it Silver or a silvery blue.
how about a greyish blue?? for the walls and then the trim in off white..also the door can be the offwhite..
black does go with anything..also why not choose colors you love..a black ceiling..with med color for walls and the luightest color for trim and oor..also take into consideration the lighting..if ur room is small i wouldnt put a dark color on them..id use a shade a few times darker than the lightest ya like..
Acutely, any light color should go fine with it. White and neutral tones are a great way of combining different decorative styles as they act as a neutral transition zone between one style and the other.
