Has anyone put down anything unusual for bathroom flooring?

Question:We have a tiny 1/2 bath in the hallway off our kitchen. We have kind of a antique colonial look going on.our floors are wide pine planks in the surrounding areas. Has anybody used anything creative for a bathroom floor. It's so tiny that it doesn't really matter if it's expensive. Any great ideas?

Answers:
If there are the wide pine planks in the bathroom, I'd say that was pretty unusual. Antique colonial look and bathrooms aren't terms that usually go together. We would stay with something dark, maybe slate tiles without grout between them, or maybe go with an early 20th century look with 1 inch hexagonal white and black tiles.
