Which walls should I paint?
Question:I'm painting my bedroom a light brown color.
The bedroom is set up so that when you walk in, there are windows straight ahead, the headboard is against the wall on the right and the dresser is across from the windows. A TV will be hung on the remaining wall across from the bed. I don't think I should paint ALL of them. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.
Answers:
If you only want to paint one wall, I would paint the wall that the bed is on and purchase some light brown curtains to match the colour paint you choose, this will really tie everything together nicely.
paint the wall that the TV is on. That's the one that you'll be looking at most often when you're in bed watching TV.
OR leave the one with the TV unpainted, and paint the remaining 3 walls brown.
if u'r aimin for 1 wall or 2.. paint the walls that u c when u walk into the room. These r the walls that will pop. What is the other wall color going to b... creme/off white?
you should just paint all the walls the same because like if somebody comes and sees your room theyll notice the wall thats not psinted
Why not paint them all? It can make it look nice and warm...Good luck
Honestly, if you are doing a light color, I would paint them all and then use either white or off-white for all of your trim. A light brown is definitley not going to be overwhelming and I think it would look nice. However, if you really don't want to paint them all, I would paint the wall with the windows brown.
If you just want a focus wall, I would paint the one you see when you enter the room with the windows. Then you could punch it up with coordinating drapery and use shades of your color to accessorize the room...comforter, sheets, pillows, rugs etc.
