I want to know if air mattresses are comfortable?

Question:

Answers:
Yes as long as you aren't sharing it with a person who weighs a lot more than you. Then you roll into their dent.

Aerobeds are comfortable.
I have three sisters we all have one and use it when company is over and no complaints yet. Thats petty amazing for my family, the no complaints part.
They are comfortable and MUCH better than sleeping on the floor.
Very comfortable--not as good as your own bed but much better than the ground or the floor.
You won't believe it, but I think they're much more comfortable than usual mattresses!!
I have a back problem called scoliosis and my back aches a lot depending on the mattress I use. My back stopped aching after I changed my (good!) mattress for an air one.
You should try it!
They are, but I don't like sleeping on them for longer then a week or so. I would not use them as a permanent solution.
beats the hell out of sleeping on the ground when camping or occasional living room in front of the fire place. but for more of a permanent solution maybe a sleep # bed have never tried one myself tho.
Depends on what you are asking. Inflatable air mattresses used for overnight visitors or campers are usually quite comfortable to sleep on, as long as you just have one person per mattress--as mentioned, 2 on one bed is awkward if you move the other person moves too.
If you are talking about the air mattresses that are permanent beds, like the Select Comfort "sleep number" bed, I have had one for several years. It has two separate mattresses inside- so I can have a different firmness than my wife. Problems I have with it are: the plastic frame foundation squeeks all of the time, anytime you move or roll over, or maybe just laying there it will groan. The mattress cover quality sucks, I have had it replaced twice, but it still is ripping along the edges. The other problem I have is my wife has her side very soft, so that if she is not in bed and I turn over, I will fall into this giant hole. I also tend to roll toward her side, because even though we have separate air chambers, the top is all one piece of fabric so if her side is lower, I am on an incline. Would not buy one again, by the way. And at well over 1000 bucks, it is not cheap.
