How to decorate a long hallway?
Question:I live in a condo with a very long entryway/hallway. When you walk in, immediately there is the closet with sliding mirrored doors on the right. Beside that is another closet that contains the washer/dryer. Then there is about 10-12 ft of just hallway. My walls are white.
I don't know what to do with such a long space? At the end of the hallway, I have a cute little wallhanging, but that's about it. Any ideas on what to put on the walls? long pictures? Shelving? I have no clue.
Thanks.

Purchase a bunch of picture frames all the same style but different in sizes. Use abstract / high contrast black & white photos that are very interesting. You could also choose to use large square or rectangular frames (hung vertically). Place symmetrically on the wall like you may see at an art gallery. Use a graphic looking rug (runner) to 'anchor' the space.

I turned my hallway into a picture gallery or friends and family. I have used different frame sizes and styles and didn't try to keep every thing all in a neat row. Everything is mix matched. Visitors love to browse through the photo's. For me, it is the only place in my home I have personal photo's the rest of my house is done in art that matches the decor.
