What color tiles would look good on a back splash if the cabinets are a creamy white and walls golden yellow?

You are starting with a great neutral color scheme so you could use almost anything. What type of decor is the kitchen? Classic, traditional, modern, country? I like 1" glass tiles in ocean colors of pale blues and greens. They come on a mesh sheet and are easy to put up. Just grout them afterward. I love how they look translucent and reflect the light too! They are especially easy to maintain as well, just use window cleaner! And if one should break, just save a sheet of left over tiles and cut one off and put it in that space! Have fun! I'm sure you will get lots of great ideas here!

what color is the flooring?
what color and material are the counters?
Not white and Not yellow---that is all I can say without more info.
You can repaint easier than you can replace tile. If you like the paint combo's get some tile samples at the store and bring them home and place them on the backsplash. A gloss white tile with gold accents sounds like it would go good with your current scheme.
Off white tiles with a golden yellow highlight tile, through the middle about every 5th tile. Then use a white or off white grout. I would seal a backsplash to help prevent staining.
If your floors are wood, I'd go with Mexican tile. It brings added color into your kitchen without being too overwhelming.

Go with natural colors, they will probably work the best but it is according to the other colors in the room esp the floor.
Not knowing your style but being a fan of creamy white I would say stay neutral and classic but be modern and updated, go with brown small glass mosaic tiles that allow and reflect light in a suttle way allowing for that golden yellow paint to do it's magic on your walls. I like to think you for dark hardwood floors and are getting dark storage baskets to match in a white cubby shelf
