Just Married with NO furniture =(?
Question:Just got married Sunday, both of us are military with no housing available. So gotta move off base and need furniture. Any suggestions where i can get nice affordable furniture? Deff a bedroom set and living room. Thanks yall

Ikea has modern furniture for cheap prices. Some stuff is a little flimsy, though.
i would check your local phone book and see what furniture stores are in your city thats the best thing i would do
a great place would be your area thrift stores. Monday and Tuesday is always a good time to check these places out . people get new furniture over the weekends. then they donate or give away the old stuff. if your budget and taste are unlimited. check this source out . very cool stuff. west elm.com
You could check out your local freecycle site to see if anyone is offering good second hand furniture or alternatively put a wanted ad in. This will leave you more money to buy a good quality bed.
Big Lots. You will be surprised at the nice and durable furniture available at Big Lots.
Shop thrift stores and Craig's List for the best deals in furniture. There are also furniture rental places, but I don't know how economical those really are, for the quality of furniture you get.
Ikea has good & not-so-good. Their good stuff includes wood furniture - shelving, tables, organizers, armoires, kitchen items and cabinets. Their mattresses are also surprisingly good for the price. Choose the more expensive line - they have 3 price lines. Not-so-good Ikea things include upholstered chairs and couches. The biggest drawback with Ikea is: you have to put everything together yourself. But then, it's easier to fit alot of stuff in the vehicle when it's all in flat boxes!
Go on Craigslist, you can find good affordable used furniture.
SInce you are both military I am sure that there are lots of people moving in and out, Also tons on second hand stores close to base. Check the secondhand stores and yard sales and flea markets. If you are stationed in the south you may be able to make a trip to High Point NC where there are lots a furniture warehouse places.
