Answers:
On HGtv, I saw how they turned them upside down and made them into unique ceiling lighting fixtures.

You could make a pot person out of them.
If the pots are new, try this!

FLOWER POT CAKE (OR DIRT CAKE)

1 (8 inch) new flower pot (plug hole with wax paper)
Artificial flowers
Gummy worms
1 pkg. (1 1/4 lb.) Oreo cookies, crushed fine in a blender or crumbled by hand)

Cream together the following and set aside: 1/2 stick butter 1 c. powdered sugar
Blend until thick: vanilla or chocolate pudding 3 1/2 c. milk 1 (12 oz.) container of Cool Whip

Add cream cheese mixture and Cool Whip. Layer cookies and pudding mixture in the flower pot. Top with cookies last. Cookies should look like potting soil on top. Add artificial flowers and gummy worms for decoration and attach the following card and a bow to the pot.

CARD:

I know I look strange, but dig right in.
The flowers are fake but the dirt is cake.
I don't need water or tender loving care,
Just eat my dirt 'til my pot is bare.
Hang them upside down and make wind chimes if they are really small. Add some driftwood and shells, pretty!
Oooh, I think DC's idea is really cute!

You can also paint them to match the decor of your bathroom or kitchen and use them for small storage. Q-tips, hairband holders, dish scrubber, toothpicks... And rings. I have the sweetest little ceramic dish attached to the wall in my bathroom that says "RINGS" on it. I never would have thought of it myself, but it came with the house when I bought it and I use it all the time. I just wish I had one in my kitchen!

Have fun!
Paint them if you want, and string three or more together vertically, like a wind chime. raffia looks good with the clay
you could decoupage pictures on them..or paint them and decorate with decoupage..decorate them in amaterial you like and also wallpaper already pasted is good for this project.. theres alot you cna do with them..also can make a lamp out of them...
I have made a bird bath and bird feeder out of them... use a small flat terra cotta dish for base. Use two larger ones, put them open ends together, and then a large flat base on the top. You can use liquid nails to secure together. Use a sealer on the top base so that it can hold water. If you want to paint the whole thing or parts, just do before you use the sealant. I also make haning wind chimes with them. Use a jute rope, and little wooden beads to keep them separated. I usually do three... space them out so that they barely nest inside each other. Of course, they cannot stand strong wind or they will break but on a porch they are cute.
