Have black L shape leather couch-currently accent it with silver and red...NEED CHANGE!! What can I do?

Question:Don't want to change the couch! But want a homier look..Not so modern?

Answers:
First of all stay away from adding green...you'll end up with a christmas couch!! Try earth tones...sand, brown, tan and along with throw pillows add an afgan or small blanket along the back.

Go over to Stein Mart or Tuesday Morning. They have fabulous affordable pillows in luxurious fabrics..and stay away from metallics!
try other colors for throw pillows. beige, green, orange
dark tan "tapestry" pillows. if you wanna be "different" go for bed-size pillows and shams. yes, you heard me right. there's no rule saying you can't use that size on a couch. and if you wanna take a nap on the couch it's much more comfy to use a large pillow than an ittybitty throw pillow for your head
You could try accenting with rugs and pillows, drapes in colors of black/brown/beiges, there are so many area rugs and decorative items now that will go with this color scheme.
Re-arrange your furniture, add or change the nic naks. I did my kitchen in blacks browns/tuscan style, it turned out beautiful, my husband could not believe how well it looked and how little I spent! Target has great accessories in those colors.
