What is best for a bathroom paper or tiles.?
Question:
Answers:
tiles...people dont use paper in there anymore..old fashioned!
Definately tiles because even proper bathroom paper peels off in the end with the damp.
As long as you have ventilation, paper is elegant.
Definitely tiles, easier to wipe and keep clean
Tiles
Tile, absolutely tile! Wallpaper will steam off, stain, get moldy, etc. Icky. Tile can be easily kept clean (those daily spray cleaners really work!) and it just looks so much cleaner and sanitary.
tiles, easy to clean and germs dont stick to it as easy, with paper, when you flush, theres always dirty water that splashes and gets soaked into the paper, thats kinda gross.
Paper is not good with the moisture. I recommend tiles.
Tiles because they're easier to clean and are a lot less likely to form mold or other such things you'll have to clean up.
Paper absorbs moisture and promotes MOLD. Tile does not. I would always go with tile and no carpet in any room with moisture.
I would have to say tile. Tile will give you more options as opposed to paper. Secondly, even well hung paper will start to peel after awhile.
Another reason I would recommend tile is because, if and when you plan to sell your house it can be a deciding factor. It's an unwritten law of real estate that kitchens and bathrooms sell homes. Tile is more exspensive, but you will get the money back.
Tile. Hands down.
It can be disinfected. Paper is dirty.
tiles and they are easy to keep clean
Tiles-easier to clean and resists mould and damp.Wallpaper always ends up peeling off.
Neither, paint. Tiles are expensive, labor intensive to install and the grout must be sealed regularly. Wall paper peels due to the humidity. With paint, its cheap, easy to clean, durable and if you get tired of it, easily changed.
i would say tiles.
much easier to keep clean and they won't peel off with too much moisture.
It`s got to be paper, how on earth could you wipe your ar*e with a tile?
tiles no prob
In tiles i think ceramic. But in paper i don't know. Thanks.
Tiles are an obvious choice for a bathroom but a larger room could have a combination of tiles and paint or a suitable wallcovering. The tiles would be fixed around the sanitaryware but paint or wallcovering could be applied to the opposite wall. There are specialist bathroom etc. wall primers to apply before painting any plastered wall or plaster-board. it is best to undercoat aftewards, then glosspaint or eggshell on top. Always sand little rough nibs off the surface between coats. There are loads of choices for tiles and people who can afford them go for expensive hand-painted ,
often Italian made tiles. Marble always looks cool in bathrooms. Do not choose anything dark and forboding colourwise. If you use a wallcovering choose wisely and not too busy a pattern. Do not use any basic papers since vinyl & washables are available then use a stronger paste and size the walls well with a weaker mix of paste.
Great Uncle Arthur speaks from practical experience.
ceramic tiles are best for walls or floor as paper will eventually peal off due the heat and condensation also they are easier to keep clean just wipe over, and they last forever.
tiles
Depends on how often you like to change things. Paper can be changed often to match decor but tiles are there for good. I think tiles are cleaner and save decorating. Plus they are water resistant. But if you like change paper is best, What about half and half.
Definately tiles it is more hygenic as you can wash them down and wallpaper goes mouldy and peels off.
tiles
paper gets wet and comes off
they are easier to clean to
tiles
paper can get mould spots on it and can lift with the damp. Though a greater expense, tiles are easier to keep clean.
