What do you think of mirrors above a bed?
Question:Ok, so I am planning on moving into an apartment soon and I am trying to decide if I should put a mirror above the bed, I think it will be a cool little thing. And also, what size of bed do you recommend? Twin seems a little small and king is too big, agreed?
Answers:
I'm a big fan of mirrors and would probably do the same thing if I had room right now - I also love Queen sized beds...they seem to be "just right" :-)
I'm thinking I would get weird views of things I never really wanted to see...
And a queen size bed is great! Not to small, and not so big that you feel like you are always sleeping alone!
yeah i think thats cool probably because i have sleep problems but it might not be to welcome if you have a girlfriend or something like that over
dude, if you are thinking mirrors on the ceiling .. then ya need a queen size bed, although I prefer king size, much roomier
;-)
LoL on walls it makes rooms look wider on ceilings it may make things look taller I think it depends on how you are looking at it. It whould be to much like a freakshow in my house though.lol
I think it would be very kinkey.
A mirror above the bed is a great convenience for those times you want to comb your hair before you get up.
careful with that one - objects are closer than they appear.
Just don't add a camera... it adds 10 lbs.
King size bed! Mirrors to cover ceiling!! COOL!
It could be kinda dangerous. It could fall in the night and seriously injure you.
SERIOUSLY -- Just a safety note -- use really strong mounting materials! Or use a plexiglass type mirror. If you are in an apartment and people above you walk around or make the floor vibrate, it could come crashing down on you in bed. Could shred you pretty badly, and could seriously hurt a guest you wanted to impress.
And for god sakes -- WHAT would you possibly want to see reflected in a TWIN bed? Lonely dude, really lonely.
I say if you are young and attractive, go for it --- once you get to a certain age, no one wants to see that stuff! Like this quote from Rodney Dangerfield:
"I'm at the age where food has taken the place of sex in my life. In fact, I've just had a mirror put over my kitchen table."
Here's looking at you!
