At Xmas time do you cover your house with xmas lights?
Question:Tell me, if you do, do you do it for the children, or to out do your neighbours?

I don't go over the top, I have little topiary xmas trees for outside the house and lights for the tree and a candle arch in the window - all very tasteful. In my old neighbourhood someone had a giant inflatable snow globe, how tatty is that?

No i never do it, but my mate does for his 3 kids.
We used to do it for the kids when they were little. Now we do it for the kids before they come home from college. I think their hearts would be broken if they drove up to an "unlit" house at Christmas, lol. We max out on the decorations inside, too...always have, always will (until our bodies won't let us, then we'll hire out:) I love talking about Christmas, especially in May!
Not cover the house, but have some lights that go into trees in the garden and on parts of the decking.don't like the ones that go too over the top, but you certainly see more of them year on year...I like them.
