Moben - I'm thinking of buying a kitchen & wondered if anyone has experience of dealing with them?
Question:As it can be an expensive purchase I want to make sure I get it right, so it would be good to know:
Are the products of good quality,
What is the customer service like,
Is Moben good value for money,
What is the after-sales service like etc etc.
Thanks!

Last year i worked on a refurbishment of a 3 bed semi, I had the contract for the plumbing & heating, The kitchen was suplied & fitted by MOBEN, The instalation of the kitchen took 4 men 5 days there was 11 units in total, & 3 meters of worktop, also the kitchen was delivered by Howdens who's units are similar to MFI, I know the cost of the kitchen was £11,000 fitted, no tiling or electrics, Not good value, This is my opinion.
No experience - but I'll be interested to see your replies. Good luck
i am a joiner by trade so i make the kitchens and fit them, if you want good quality then get someone local to make and fit it for you, this is a bit more expensive,
it really is u get what u pay for, most company's are ok or they wouldn't be in business, do NOT get it from b&q tho, they are rubbish at getting the small things in like draw fronts etc, so u will have all your kitchen apart from handles or something.
some of the best companys are linlley, they are good but quite expensive.
moben seem to be ok i knew a fitter for them, and he tought they were ok, just remember saving loads of money now could cost you more in the future, it is worth saving a bit more money and getting something of good quality.
hope this helps a bit.
Im a self employed plasterer and have did sub contract works to the kitchen companies, if you buy from any of these big companies you are going to pay over the odds, get a local joiner to quote for fitting a kitchen - Howdens are good kitchens and if your joiner has an account you can get a good kitchen at an excellent price - depending on his markup but still cheaper than the big companies.
