Any charity organization will take the material that I am about to tear down, in bay Area, California?
Question:I plan to tear down my house and rebuild. I heard from Radio before that there is one charity in Palo Alto (CA) will take the material, but I forgot the contact, Just look for any kind of charity in Bay Area

I've heard about people using GotJunk. They supposedly come to you and you tell them what they take, then they find the right place for it to go - recyled, donated, trash, etc. I personally haven't used them yet, but from what I hear they are amazing. Another place to look for resources is http://www.idealbite.com/ because you are in CA, you should have no problem finding something :)
