Has anyone ever used blackboard paint? Does the painted wall work well as a blackboard? Is it durable?

Works beautifully. We have used blackboard paint on walls and doors. One closet door was especially handy because we could write notes and keep up with everyone.
Balckboard paint goes through an aging proces so it holds up on every surface if the surface is prepared properly. If the wall is not prepared the paint will chip off.
Blackboard paint is great and it does work like a blackboard and is dureable, just read the instructions on the can and you should have no problems. I have used it several times for signs. Good Luck.
I haven't ever used this, but friends have. It's great for older blackboards that have become scratched.
I haven't ever heard of anyone using it on a regular wall, though.

Yes it is but in some cases it takes two coats, go to your local Ace hardware they can get you the best paint, and applicators to do the job
