If you have a room with alot of wood, what color should the wall be?

Depends on the "style" you are trying to acheive. If you want traditional - southern - warm room you should go with Eggshell, Tan, or cream
If you are more bold, go with Mauve
If you want more modern, go with light blue
Off white would be my choice as you have a lot of hard to complement colors and may need to lighten things up with a light neutral.
Off-white or cream to help lighten things up and then you also don't have the worry of matching things to your wall color
