Does anybody no if the salvation army takes furniture, i'm trying to get rid of it without moviing it myself

Question:

Answers:
Goodwill and Salvation Army both will accept furniture if it's in good condition. If it has rips, holes, stains ,etc., they won't take it.

advertise it on www.freecycle.org. (register for your local group on there)
I believe so.you could also try Value Village (diabetes fund raising store) as well. I found when I was moving that they have had budgetary cuts and as a result are down to one truck in our large city so it takes up to 6 weeks to get something picked up. Plan in advance.
If you can't wait that long there are often companies who take your furniture and resell it really cheap to those who have fallen on hard times and are starting over again. I think I paid them a minimal $25 to take everything (still worth it to me).
