I'm moving to a new apartment, the colors stink...what should I paint?
Question:I'm moving into a new apartment next week. But the previous tenant painted his living room and kitchen ORANGE and the bedroom BLUE (deeper) as well as the hallway that leads up
to the bed room. The bathroom is eggshell. I wanted to leave the kitchen orange and the bedroom blue and repaint the living room and hallway leading to the bedroom in a different color, any recommendations? I'll try to substantiate the layout: Each room is its own boxed section.
(top-down view, single floor))
The living room is at the bottom of the apartment, the kitchen is above half of the living room, the space that the kitchen doesn't take is a hallway that leads to a bedroom over the kitchen with a bathroom to the right of the bedroom.
Thanks in advance guys and gals

I would go with a basic off white, eggshell, very neutral. This way you can decorate with any color you wish, i.e., bright colored pillows in the living room, a throw rug in the bedroom in a bright flowered color as well as the bedspread. You can always change the accent pieces, even in the kitchen with different colored canisters, kitchen utensils to match, and not worry about changing the color of the walls. Simple, less expensive and less work.
well i always paint my room according to my mood at the moment. at the time i painted my room, i was cheerful. so i painted it a bright aqua color. i like it a lot. you sound like a young person, so i would suggest a bright color. but i dunno. i guess whatever color you think is best. keep in mind the bedsheet colors you have.
Hi there!
Try some lively colors for your living room, which kind of rejuvenates oneself, go for light colors or light with designer colors. The color of a room are very much important when in question with your interior design and the items you keep they should gel with the color.

Good luck
How bright to you want it to be. How about a toned down version of orange like a goldenrod or shade of yellow.
