The decorating depends on what you like as far as colors and style, what kind of furniture do you have, or are you getting new, etc.
As far as the organizing, with a lot of people getting ready to go off to college, the organizing and storage stuff is going to be all around. Check out Linens 'n Things organization section, but also check in the "Destination Dorm" area (listed at the top of the web page). You could get some great ideas from that. Over the door storage, under bed (great for out of season clothes or things you don't use often).
