What to put between tile and carpet?

Question:Im doing a diamond layout job and i made it to the doorway of the rooms where existing carpet remains! What can i put between the tile and carpet to make it look good? I dont want to tuck the carpet into the tile i rather give it a better look! Theres some metal strip looking object! What is this and how do you install it? Looks easy!

Answers:
Transition strip, there are several different types, simply fasten them to your subfloor, usually it would go under the tile and the carpet is cut to it

There is a product by Schluter this manufacturer makes several different types of transitions (remember, when bringing carpet and tile together you will have to use some sort of carpet tackless to hold the carpet in place or a nice marble or wood threshold would also work.
