Can i use faux stainless steel contact paper to cover my old fridge?


Question:I'm really interested to know how can i join the seams without it looking tacky. i've seen it in pictures but don't know what product to use.

There is no way that the seams will completely disappear, but if you use heavy weight, good quality contact paper (the kind used for art projects) and BUTT the seams together, not overlap, and use a soft brayer to rub them down, they will be the least noticeable. You have to be careful (often takes 2 people) to get the contact material on so that there are no air bubbles. And be sure a mark a straight line to follow. It;s alot like hanging wall paper. You can also get old appliances re-painted (it's a spray on enamel) relatively cheaply by some one who specializes in this (Or at least the door painted)--should be in phone book.
