A calendar - a monthly white board calendar you can write on and wipe off is good. If not that, just a regular white board. Family photos, clips holding important phone numbers; small plant; if it's allowed, a tiny little fish tank could be relaxing - or a pretend one if not; a cool coffee mug/water glass and coaster. Some folks like little "things" setting on their monitor or desk or around pencil mugs, phones etc. These could be little stuffed animals, bendy people, etc. - whatever your personality desires...
It's fun to have one "conversation piece" for people to ask about. Don't make it an irreplaceable sentimental object because it could disappear.
a calendar just big enough to cover up the posters of the latest swimsuit supermodel.
calender or some kind of newspaper clippings(sports for guys and love is for women). oh and pictures.
Beige Industrial, LOL! We share cubicles because I work at a 24 hour facility. I bring in a little chair slipcover I had made so it feels more home like and just store it in my locker. It also keeps me from getting other people's ick on my clothes, some people are just disrespectful pigs and don't clean up after themselves! I also have a coordinating wall organizer that I made that holds my memo pads and other office supplies that I purchased myself. It hangs from hooks that are on the top of the cubical walls, I just bought inexpensive hooks that hang over the tops of doors. Everyone thinks it is so practical and cute and want me to make them some too, but they are on their own! I hope this gives others ideas on having a happier workplace!
