Tiny room vs. awkward shaped room?(random q im bored)?
Question:my mom is getting a new room expanded on the house. i could either stay in my room, which is really small, and redo it with miorrs and a loft bed, ect. to make it look bigger, or move into my moms old room. her room is basically anti-teen: normal sized but with a loft the size of a whole wall, so no blasting loud music, posters all over the walls, and privacy for talking on the phone. also the roof is annoying exposed wood slanting to one side and the room has weird angles so you cant put anything in the corners. also my room has a closet and this one does not. should i stay in my old room or move into the new one. also, if we do get a wall built to take out the loftness, which one should i stay in?i want to pick the right one because i saved up to makeover it really cool.

There is so much potential in a larger rooom. You could drape sheer material across the ceiling to cover the beams. Make a little niche for yourself in one corner: a comfy chair, a small table with your phone, and a nice floor lamp placed where it won't be in the way. Put your music equipment nearby and use a headset. You could also set up a study area with a computer desk. No closet huh? Odd but not an insurmountable issue. See if you can have a closet built-in. Or use a hanging rack with a partition in front of it with a design or your posters on it. Armoires are nice too.
Tiny room is the worst!
u'r mom's room would ok to do things in to help make if unique BUT if u'r looking for TOTAL privacy... then stay in u'r room . U will never have TOTAL privacy w/o walls .
