I have a new fence I built and I want to apply some Thompsons seal and stain. Whats the best way to apply this
Question:I can use a sprayer, Brush or roller.
What has been you guys experience. I don't want to waist this stuff and I want to have some sections overstained.

go buy a WAGNER HPLV. read all the directions. wear a mask. be carefull not to ever hit your skin, it will inject it. use the good thompsons it will last longer for a few bucks more. you wil find many more uses for this sprayer, you do it yourselfer you!
If it is a large fence use a sprayer and don't over lap as the stain will be darker when you do overlap. If it is a small fence use a brush and also do not over lap.
Unless you have experience with a sprayer, I wouldn't use one; too much chance of screwing it up.
I would use a brush. It's time-consuming, but you'll have better control/better results.
I would use a sprayer. You get a more even application. Just practice beforehand.
Using a Sprayer is very help full. Just make sure you are at a good distance so the paint does not over build on each other and create bleeding lines. I use a Paint brush on my fence it it looks fine. It just takes a lot longer.
Not sure how dark of a stain your going with. If your just going clear seal, then I would spray it no matter what and not worry if I had more one board or another of the fence. If your using a stain that is noticeable then you will need to be more care full.
It is also going to depend on how far apart your boards are on your fence, how tall is your fence and so on.
Lets assume that your fence is 6' and the boards are no more than 3" - 4" apart on each side and there is no actual wide gap. I would recommend spraying because you can get a nice even coat and do not have to worry about painting your neighbors house by mistake.
If your worried about spraying through the fence ( painting houses around you, killing neighbors yard or your yard ) then I would go ahead and use a brush. If you use a roller your not going to be able to get each and every part.
By the way, wear a mask with this stuff as if there is no breeze it is pretty potent.
