Do you have any ideas for me to decorate my room with a little more glamour than it already has?

Question:I would like my room to be more girly and glamorous than it already is. I like couture, Abercrombie, Sephora, Hollister, Laila Rowe, Lilly Pulitzer. Stuff like that. I hope that helps with my style and will help with my interests. And I hope the ideas are not so expensive. Thank you soo muchh and I hope you can help me. <3

Hang some artwork on your walls - you can frame inexpensive prints, or shop at thrift stores - they have lots of framed art that is very inexpensive. You could even replace artwork in those thrift store frames with fashion mag photos.

Sophisticated, girly bedding will jazz up your bed, and add lots of throw pillows. You can recover old ones, if they are clean - you can even sew your own. Add lacey trim or beads.

Throw a few sheer scarves over your lamps to give mood lighting - just make sure you have low-watt bulbs! Ikea and Cost Plus have inexpensive paper lantern light fixtures that come in different shapes and sizes. You only need a few hooks in the ceiling to hang them. Or suspend a paper Japanese umbrella upside down over an existing ceiling light.

If you have just a little bit of money, even painting one wall in an accent color (like red or deep purple) can really change the mood of your room!

Do you have room for lounging? Get some giant floor pillows so it looks like a Persian harem. Add some throw rugs for texture and color.

Skim decorating books and magazines at the bookstore or library to get ideas, or watch some decorating shows on HGTV!

.
yes .do what you like
a good way to decorate a room is to turn something old and make it new by repainting it or something? or adding something that you made by yourself and incorporating it in there...i guess like the stuff that you see on TV on the DIY network and stuff X]
Coat your walls with elmer's glue and then toss various colored glitter all over it. Can't get more glamorous than that!
The only way to decorate any room is to first sit down and think about styles and colors which you like. then don't worry about what other people think because it is your room. After that look in books or go to a large store and look at all the items they have in your area. Also see what they have which you can order. After that have fun redecorating.
When I moved in to my new apartment I needed to decorate my bedroom and add some color to the hideous beige walls but only had enough money for a new comforter. My solution: Family Dollar and the $2/yard fabric section at Wal-Mart. I had my dad make two shelving units out of plain, unfinished pine and I covered them completely in loose flowing fabric. My bed is just a mattress on a frame, so to create the look of a headboard I got a ceramic-cast wall decoration from Family Dollar and used it as the point from which I draped fabric acros the wall the entire width of my full-size bed. The colors are all medium browns, royal purples, olive greens, and non-metalic golds. Describing it in words just doesn't do it justice, but it ended up looking pretty luxurious and only cost me about $30 or $40. Everyone who's seen it has fallen in love with the room. If you'd like to forward me an email address I'd be happy to send you a few pics of the finished room.
Make a cute sitting area with a comfy chair, a small table and a lovely floor lamp. Keep your music equipment nearby. It's a nice place to relax and read. Keep your room decor simple, peaceful and uncluttered. Posters are less expensive than framed pictures, and there are reasonably priced poster frames. Make sure the pictures are of a similar style to your decor. Paint one of the walls a soft pastel color...soft mint green is always pretty and makes the room appear cooler. If you have a dark ceiling fan, get a white one to make the ceiling appear higher. They aren't expensive now. Put flowing, sheer curtains on your windows. If you need heavier drapes for privacy, open them a lot (except at night of course). Most colors (and all patterns) match soft mint green, so choose something you "just love" for your bedspread. Check garage sales and used furniture stores for lamps. Or get one of those sheer nets that hang from the ceiling to put over the head of your bed. They aren't expensive either and will turn your room into a serene place to be. Hope this helps.
Try wallpapering just one side of your room with a fancy wallpaper (it is stylish if you do just one wall and cheaper!) Buy some cheap glass beads or the ones that look like diamonds and add some onto a picture frame or lampshade in your room. Add a few girly candles and candleholders from www.CoziCandle.com-you can find candles and candleholders that are "blinged" out and very girly. The link is http://www.cozicandle.com/product/cby-02... (that is a candle w/rhinestones in the shape of a stylish purse) or a simple candleholder with rhinestones at http://www.cozicandle.com/product/cby-01... You can even find some posters at www.allposters.com and put them up on your walls!
