Wrought Iron Fence INSTALLATION...?

Question:How difficult is it to install a wrought iron fence? Ho do you do it?

Answers:
"Wrought" iron is correct. Compared to other kinds of fencing, wrought iron is relatively easy to install. Begin with establishing a level line for the top of the fence. You must first decide whether the fence will run true or follow the contours of the land under it. The next step is to lay out the exact locations where the posts must go, but don't be tempted to dig all the holes at once--the spacing may be off once a hole is actually dug and a post set in place. So, work one post at a time, setting and plumbing as you go. Once you have all the posts set, using braces, that's when you fill around each post with dry ready-mix concrete. By allowing the ready-mix to draw moisture from around the hole, you will end up with a better and truer final set. Allow the posts to remain braced for one full day while the concrete fully sets. Then remove the braces and start filling between posts with the wrought iron sections.

its hard..plan on breaking up cement or pooring cement and going about 15 inches in the ground
This link should give you the instructions you need. I always hire someone since I can design, not build.
If you are installing on flat ground, it is not that difficult. Auger out or dig the post holes at the required panel distance. Then it is like an erector set. Insert poles into the hole, insert panels into the post, cement pole and move to the next pole repeating the process. Then insert finials and screw in. That is how my installation crew put in mine, but unfortunately it was on a very steep hillside. I'm glad I paid for installation, the ground here is extremely hard (DG) and they hit a sprinkler pipe and had to repair it at their cost. I think installation of the gate was the most difficult because mine required a locking mechanism and spring closure that were seemingly hard to put together.
