Fabric draped ceilings...or tented ceilings...?

Question:I am intrested in hanging fabric on my celings but i am kind of clueless as to how to Has anyone ever done this or have ideas on how to.

Answers:
The material is stapled all around the ceiling and drawn together in the middle. If it was me, I'd hang a long light down to keep the heat away from the fabric.
It is a 2 person job but you can do most of the work yourself by using thin strips of wood and stapling the fabric to that. Nail that (or screw it) into the ceiling along the edge and let the fabric drape until you have someone to help you draw it together.
It would be a good idea to have someone sew the ends that will be in the centre of the room with a long slip stitch so you can gather the material easily and ease it to fit.

On shows I've watched they simply staple them to the ceilings, the holes left behind are small and easy to repair when you leave...Make sure you have some help doing this, it's a two person job...Good Luck..
Try towel rings in the corners.
Also, go to www.tlc.com and see what Trading Spaces archives might have.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.
