Decor tips!!?

Question:I want your very best decorating tip. What is the one rule you always decorate by!!

Answers:
I am an interior designer that specializes in residential makeovers. My favorite saying that my boss is always using is, "less is more and bigger is better." That means go for big and bold accessories. Make them neutral to match any room and pair them in threes. Then you can make the walls any color you want and the rooms will look great!

Decide what your focal point is!
Paint always looks darker on the walls than on the swatch.
Coordinate colors:
Pastels
Earth tones
Example: Dark brown, tan & beige
Black, white & gold
Dark Green,pink & Burgundy
try to have matching boxes, or a closet with many shelves, or a kitchen with many cabinets so you wont have clutter all over the room..
if you have boxes and drawers to put stuff in your room will always look neat and organized
Flow!! All the rooms on the first level (living room, great rooms, kitchen, dining etc.) must coordinate by color and style so they flow nicely together.
Try to think of a mood or feeling you want to express about yourself. Use this vision boldley. Don't be afraid to create something totally new.
For knick knacks i do groups of three or a different odd number
Always use a similar color bed to the wall paint.
