Is there a way to paint a metal meterial colored brass to a different color like an antique nickel?

Question:I have an old piece of furniture and the handles on it are brass and it doesn't match anything in my house. I really want to change them to a silver toned color but I have no idea how to do it. Thanks.

Check the paint section of you local hardware store.(bigger the store more variety) You can buy many different finishes to look like brushed steel, copper. Find the products that are specific for metal and make sure you prime them first or the paint will just come off.
