The easiest and most hassle-free way to remove wallpaper is this:
1. Using a scoring tool (it looks like a pizza cutter with spikes), run it all over the wall, every which way. You'll find a scoring tool at your nearest hardware store. Don't press too hard on the tool, use just enough pressure to make small holes in the paper.
2. Using a spray bottle (any one will do), fill it with blue car windshield washer liquid. Do not water it down, use it full strength. Spray this all over the wall. Wait 10 minutes. Spray a second time. Wait 5 minutes.
3. Peel the wallpaper away from the wall, using a flat scraper for any stubborn pieces.
I know that some people here will tell you to buy a commercial product. Don't waste your money. Windshield washer liquid is likely what is in the commercial product you buy. Some others will tell you to use liquid fabric softener. It does work, but it is a heck of a mess after! It is slimy and difficult to remove it from the wall and if you don't get it off properly, it will keep any paint from adhereing properly after. If you don't believe me, go put some fabric softener on your hands and then try and rinse it off. With blue windshield washer liquid, you won't even have to rinse!

one of those wallpaper stripper things that produces loadsa steam...they work really well - gets a bit hot tho.
Take a cutting knife and score the wall paper with large X's. Spray the walls liberally with water.....wait an hour..paper will peel right off!
score the paper with a stanley knife then soak it with warm soapy water and leave it for a while to soak through.it should then just glide off the wall with a scraper.
Go to Home Depot/Lowe's/Hardware store and get a paper tiger.. it's a round device w/ razorblades that you can grip in your hand and it scores the paper so it's easier to tear off... Glue will probably be left behind so you can get that off the wall with diluted 50/50 vinegar/water or cheap liquid fabric softner and water just let it sit on the wall until the glue/paste softens and wipe down with damp sponge.. It may take awhile and a few applications so do a small patch at a time..
We use a tool called a PAPER TIGER, which will cut through the layer of wallpaper and allow the vinegar and water to get behind the paper and disolve the glue. The only other thing would be to rent a steamer. good luck

Steam stripper and a tool that perforates the paper without cutting, (you can get them in B & Q) then all you need do is scrape, (scrape as you steam).
the easiest way would probably be to get some hot water (preferably not boiled) and put it into one of those sprayers that you squeeze and a light spray of water comes out, and then spray the hot water on the wallpaper then wait a few minutes and scrape it off with a scraper.
alternatively you could just get one of those expensive steamer things but a spray thing will work just as well.

Use a steam wallpaper stripper ,they will save you a lot of hard work .
Use 2 parts vinegar and 1 part hot water in a spray bottle. If that is too strong, use half and half and just spray on the wall. Let soak for about 10 to 15 minutes and scrape off with a wallpaper scraper. Usually comes right off. If this doesn't work, try Downy and hot water and work the same way. (I used to work in a wallpaper store) If the paper is vinyl coated, a Paper Tiger is best to use first. You will find this at any wallpaper store, or Lowe's. It pokes holes in that top layer to allow liquid to penetrate through.
i normally peel off the top layer as theres normally bits to pull at.. then soak

Take and score your walls and then spray. The wallpaper should come off like magic.
i would say go to home depot and consider buying the paper tiger device and ask the store experts. i think it's affordable
you can hire a wall steamer and just scrape its works a treat!!
Use fabric soften,.... and water, get a spray bottle, mix 3/4 water and 1/4 softener, spray on wall and let it sit for 5 minutes then start scraping. Good luck.
This is very cheep to do and your hands will smell good and get soft to.

wet it, or steam it- i think steaming works best, comes off easier. you can use a scraper too. they also sell wallpaper remover in a spray bottle at walmart, lowes, home depot etc
i have had the most luck with steaming to remove
a steamer works...but we just used a iron and just slightly touched the wall paper and the wall paper came of like nothing...worked really good
use a steamer, just make sure that the wall has a good layer of plaster on underneath or it will bubble and come away. it happened to me! or use washing up liquid in warm water and scrape off.
You should be aware if you're wall is made of lath & plaster. If it is then steam stripping may not be best, especially if u hang about with the steam. Chances are you may damage the plaster. repeated wetting & drying may cause the plaster to crack and/or loose its grip on the lathing, eventually coming off. If you wall is solid, them steam strip is quick & effective. otherwise score the wall with a hobby knife etc & then wet & leave for a while. Use a scraper to strip the paper of the walls. baware that some wall paper is designed to leave a lining layer on the wall when stripped. usually these will have a shine or vinyl coating or even be textured.
