Do I use tile adhesive or mortar when laying tile?

Question:

Answers:
Use thinset mortar - tile adhesive just isn't as high quality/won't hold up as well. If you've never layed tile before, you really should talk to someone at either a local tile store or a home improvement store (if that's all you can find). They'll help you get everything you need and can help you more based on what tile you're using and where you're doing it.

Adhesive
adhesive...helped my friend lay a few days ago!
Adhesive...then grout 24 hours later. Mortar is for stone and brickwork.
Mortar, either thin set or regular
don't use mortor use thinset. check the instructions on your adhesive alot of them are made for walls
you should use thinset when installing ceramic tile, and what kind you use depends on what kind of floor you are installing on.terazzo is a non porous material and requires a thinset or motor that has moer polymers in it to make it adhere to the floor better
