Taking off a border and paint is coming off in some places...?
Question:is this normal? does it matter if paint comes off if i plan to repaint? how do you suggest taking off the border it's the self adheasive type?

it is quite common,and no t really doesn't matter ,just spackle the spots where the paint lifted and sand them smooth before the area gets repainted..painting contractor
It's pretty normal for the border to pull off paint with it. If you're going to repaint, it really doesn't matter. If you wanted to keep the paint as is, you'd have more work, but that doesn't seem like it matters here. The website below covers the basics for removing wallpaper.
