Really, is there anything worse than vertical blinds?

Question:besides aluminum towel rods.

Answers:
Yep, no blinds at all. The neighbors stare and take notes...its annoying.

no, i hate hanging the darn things
Exactly! They always break and they are way too noisy when you move them!
Yeah, horizontal ones!
Very 1970's.
lol
Yes, ugly sheets in the window if you are asking as someone looking in to a house. Otherwise being in the house I'd have to say those ugly pull down shade things from back in the day.
Try horizontal blinds on those huge windows. A true nightmare. But, yes, they are horrible.
Towels/blankets or flags look worse, but yeah vertical blinds suck and they say "I'm poor" (not that their is anything wrong with that)
venetian blinds w/ material on them? pain to clean..
Gas powered leaf blowers were Satan's idea.
umm...
taping a garbage bag around the window to keep the light out?
Global warming, pestilence, plague, mass starvation in Africa, probably a few things worse.
dried puke all over the bathroom on a midsummer day
okay, okay, they are coming down tomorrow..just as soon as you find the curtains.
how about rat infested grocery stores
