Whats that kitchen cabinet style with two different colors called?
Question:My grandparents had this style in their house and I would like to know what it is called. For example, the actual cabinets are painted dark brown and the doors light brown.

You might be referring to a "two-tone" style.
It was probably out of neccessity rather than style. They probably just replaced the doors or had them refinished and rather than refacing the cabinets they painted them. They do it on those 24 hr. redecorating shows where they want a quick & cheap face lift. Otherwise its not a style and not done to a new kitchen.
