Best days at thrift stores?
Question:In your opinion, what are the best days to hit thrift stores to find the best new things and explain your reasoning. I'm thinking most people clean things out of their house on the weekend, drop it off on Sunday or Monday and big items like furniture hit the floor on Tuesday or Wednesday (?). Just my theory, but I'd like to hear the opinions of others.
My theory proved correct (for me) last week when I scored what appears to be new (less than a year old) La-z-boy recliner for $25 that is in perfect shape!!

well i think that early morning shopping helps, but asking an employee when the best day to shop is probably better,not to mention the Salvation army's color of the day,or Goodwill's color of the day also!, it doesn't hurt to try craigslist, they GIVE away good stuff all the time...free is always better.... good luck!
I know the thrift store down the street has a bag sale every tuesday, whatever you can fit in a bag for five bucks.
