What are box springs really good for in beds.?

Question:Have a platform style bed and want to know if I a box spring would be needed.

Answers:
If you have a true platform bed, you won't need a box spring.

But.. if your bed is low profile, you will need a box spring. The box spring provides support for your mattress.
