Average cost of labor and materials for pouring concrete?

Question:I need about 4.75 yards of concrete poured for a small parking pad, patio addition and sidewalk (to widen it). I got a quote for $1800.oo does this sound reasonable?

Answers:
A yard of concrete will cover about 80 square feet when poured about 4 inches thick. So you have about 380 square feet. That is about $4.73 a square foot. I think it is a pretty good price. Make sure the contractor has insurance. Also check some of his other work. For a concrete guy you can usually drive by and take a look at the driveway or other flat work.

Very. For the material and labor, very reasonable.
I don't know where you live but where i live it is about 100 to 110 dollars per yard for the concrete and 85 dollars per yard for labor assuming you will have this area polished/smoothed for easier cleaning and should think about sealing it as well so I think you could get a better price if you shop around. You should also ask about the amount of steel they are putting in it or if they are putting in fiberglass and what strength concrete they are using i.e. 3000# all of this will determine how strong the pad will be.you should also have stress cuts put in it.
