How to inexpensively dress a folding chair?

Question:I am getting married this October on a super tight budget. The hall already have the metal folding chairs and tables. Is there a way to dress it up in a very inexpensive but beautiful way so that it won't look too ugly?

Answers:
If you are looking for cheap chaircovers - try www.dressmychair.com
The prices are really great - they have a chaircover that covers the back of the chair for $1
You can also rent sashes to wrap around the chairs - it's even cheaper than tulle - but looks so much better.
They have chaircovers for folding chairs and all kinds of chairs. I used them for my wedding and they were so amazing!

You could just get some tulle fabric from a fabric store and wrap it around the back part of the chair (not the seat) and tie it off pretty (although even a knot with tulle can look nice) and then maybe add a little inexpensive charm to the tied off part. A lot of craft stores, and eBay, carry little charm type things, maybe if you have a "theme" or color going you could pick something like that out.
at my Friends wedding we took cheap pillow cases and slide them over the back and tied bows with ribon and tulle
Try this web site below. The prices seem good, not too bad. Just scroll down on the web page and choose your color and quantity for folding chairs.
If you want a fall theme, which is very nice my dad used this theme for his wedding and it was amazing! It wasn;t costly either. to dress up the chairs put like vines on the inside in the aisle's and put pumpkins and autumn leaves and good smelling candles! even some trees? its not very costly. Idk what ur colors/theme are so yeah i'd say just put like vines or leis like string something u know?? it would be gorgeous!

congrats and good luck hun!
take a strip of fabric, and cut it so that u can drap it from the floor on the left hand side, to the floor on the right hand side of the chair.

now take another long strip of fabric, and run it from the floor at the front of the chair, all the way over the seat, up the back, over the top, and all the way down to the floor.

then take a strip of colourful organza, which is really cheap as it is so thin (organza is like a net , and u can see through it:)
and tie it around the back of the chair, near the base of the seat, to keep the fabrics in place. (do this tightly )

this is cost effective, u can use any colour bed sheet!..
and just buy the organza or buy ribbon:)

...u will want to think about the hems,,hust run straight stitch using a sewing machine, or use wonder web and iron them, and the wonder web will make it stick.

if u live in the UK, try tesco, asda, and fabric shops 4 the wonderweb, aswell as the bed sheets, and you can buy ribbon from any bobble shop really.

if u live in the USA, buy wonder web from walmart i guess, and bedsheets also, and the ribbon again from any fabric shop or bobble shop.

wonderweb is this (incase u dont know) or hemming web,

organza is this (im not being patronising lol, im just trying to help:)

..i picture the chairs to be like this:)

if there are too many chairs, or this prooves to expensive, just tie organza ribbon around the sides..and maybe insert a flower into the knot?

have a lovely day, whatever happens:)
