What accent color can I use with grey walls, white trim, black and gray carpet, and red slipcovered furniture.
Question:I am looking for ideas on an accent color to use in a family room at a lakeside vacation home. The walls are light gray, trim bright white, carpet is a mix of gray and black flecks, and the furniture is slipcovered in a cranberry red. I need a color that will pop! Fun and vacation-like! Any ideas?

Well, the two colors that come to mind are silver or turquoise...
Since it's a summer lakeside vacation home and you want vacation colors, my preference would be for turquoise. Turquoise would look great with what you have already. Think turquoise cushions, vases, throw rugs, curtains...

I definately agree that turquoise would look great or even a yellow-- a beachy blue would look nice too.

Add navy blue and a golden yellow - very nautical combo with the red/grey/black you already have going. I also agree with the aqua green/blue.
