Contact paper?
Question:If I have a dishwasher that I don't really like. It's white and doesn't really look good, can I put contact paper over the front. Would that work or just look tacky.

Contact paper would look a little tacky. One thing you might want to check is on some dishwasher models if you take the screws off around the frame of the door you may find other colored panels behind it. Some manufacturers send out there dishwashers with all the different color panels behind the color that was ordered. Hope this helps.
Contact the company who made it, you might be able to buy some new panels.most of them come off...
I would paint it. If you're going to use contac paper try the silver kind that seems metallic. Or at least go with a solid color so it's not obvious that it is contact paper.
