In my sold items page on e-bay, i have an egg-timer shaped symbol instead of £ sign. anyone know why?
Question:the buyer may have paid or not. normally a dark blue £ sign appears when buyer has paid. a pale blue one when not paid. is it a fault at ebays end?
Answers:
It means that the payment is pending. Can take up to 10 days for payment to clear. Do not post the item to the buyer until the payment has cleared. The symbol will change to a blue pound sign when this happens.
I think it means that the payment is pending. Buyer may have paid by e-cheque which takes longer to clear
I don't know but why is this question under Decorating & Remodeling
How did the person pay , was it via paypal ? If so then there would appear to be a problem with your account accepting their funds. The egg timer normally means the payment is pending and not cleared.
It means the buyer has marked as payment sent.
Ie Buyer has put cheque in the post
Its not a guarantee of that though
