Great Room ideas for a 13 year old girl?
Question:anyone have any ideas for a 13 year old girl's room? wall colors, decorations... ANYTHING at all!

I painted my daughter's room white, with a cobalt blue ceiling and a border about a foot high, from the wall. I used silver curtains. Silver accessories. It looks fabulous.
I'm just going through something similar with my 12-year old stepdaughter. I actually put the decorating "scheme" in her hands - I asked her to pick something that has the colors she'd like to have in her bedroom, and we're going from there. I picked up a bunch of paint chips and freebie paint/decorating idea pamphlets from a home improvement store so she can pick actual paint colors. Then we'll shop together for bed linens, curtains, and other accessories to round it out. DEFINITELY let her have a say in how it's decorated - it's her room, afterall! Cheers and good luck to you!

lamps: multicolored lamp shades, lava lamps, jelly lamps...
posters: your favorite hottie actor(s), favorite band(s), a bulletin board for pictures (you can get them in different colors)
pillows: Fluffy, colorful, shaggy, big, small
Rug: Shag rugs in bright colors are SO cool!
you need coulour!warm coulours and lots of pillows,smalls ,different shapes,ones for floor,others for bed;a big flower on the wall where you can hang your sweetheart's photo or your post-its;and a white,grey or cream fluffy rug;and a real cat.
