What is the best kind of mop to use on a pergo floor?
Question:I've tried the Swifer mop and it doesn't really get the floor clean. Any suggestions from experience?

A microfiber mop works the best. They clean well, and you can use the same cleaning cloth over 300 times before having to replace it, which makes it much better for the environment than Swiffer.
I use job a regular sponge mop. I agree the swifter doesn't get it that clean...
The best mop is one that has strips of some type of fiber...microfiber, maybe... and a plastic cover that you bring down over the mop to squeeze the water out. They dry fast when you are finished too.
The cloth-like fiber works great on most any floor, but I would think it would work great on Pergo.
