How do I paint nails that are on my window frame?

Question:

Answers:
First get a small tool called a centrepunch and a small hammer and drive the nails a little further into the wood. Not far, just below the surface.

Use a wood putty to fill the tiny holes left over the nails.

Put a small dab of paint on each patch. Wait till that dries.

Then repaint the whole frame so the patching won't be evident.

Protect your glass while you do it.

Clean the windows before you start.

If outside, add a UV additive or use UV resistant paint.

Use a punch to recess the nails, fill in with caulk, let it dry and sand it, if needed, then paint.
