Just had granite vanity installed and it has a 2" shallow gouge and the polish isn't uniform, normal?

Question:

Answers:
No that is not normal, you need a replacement, i have been fabricating granite for more than 6 years, and never have i seen a 2" gouge...im guessing it is on the side of the surface, could have happened from a grinder and just didn't get noticed. or someone was in a hurry, my guess someone was in a hurry...you should call the company and have them come out and take a look at it, they should be able to remove the gouge onsite without having to replace the entire top.

No. Contact the company where you purchased it for a replacement or refund.
