What is the best way to clean and gleam old white bathroom tiles please?
Question:i cannot afford to change them nor do i want to paint them

Clorax (to clean). Then you might consider getting that grotto tile filler at your local hardware store. It won't cost as much as actually painting them, but the clorax cleaner might do the trick.
My sister cleans for a living and swears by oven cleaner, yes oven cleaner. Good for tub, tiles and stoves.
all I can add is this, after you get them white again, polish them with car wax (like Turtlewax) that way the water will run off quicker
(old trick from my motel-maid days)
