What can I do with about 200 pounds of broken mirror pieces?

Question:

Answers:
set them in cement and make stepping stones, or other "works of art"

Melt them down and make 1 mirror.
Many people would be intrested in making collages and artwork with mirrored glass. Get a good pair of gloves a glass cutter and glue.. Get creative. Once you have completed a design, you can also stain the mirror on some peices for an interesting effect. that is a lot of glass though.

DO NOT MELT MIRRORS! THEY CONTAIN EITHER SILVER OR SILVER OXIDE ON THE BACKING WHICH YOU DO NOT WANT TO INHALE AS A GAS!!!!!
Worlds biggest disco ball! Yes!
Put them on a wall , maybe in a rec room or basesment. to really brighten up a dreary room.
Use them as a mosaic for whatever you want.
Mosaic a whole ceiling and run some cool dramatic lighting pointing upwards from the sides of the room.
Nifty mosaic--combine with some broken colorful tile - and you have got yourself a nice project (though 200 pounds is quite a bit). I am terribly curious why you have 200 pounds of broken mirror pieces though.
What fantastic luck - to be the proud owner of 200 lbs of broken mirror pieces. You could:

a) Make mirror balls (disco balls!) for all your friends and have fabulous birthday presents for everyone you know!

b) you could make a mirror wall by gluing the pieces on to a boring wall

c) inlaid mirror furniture...like a coffee table by buying a recessed-topped coffee table, arranging the pieces (you don't even have to glue them in this case) and then poor shellacking or polyurethane to set it...oh what fun!

d) sell them to craft stores, perhaps!

But of course, use gloves and be careful handling! And have fun!
if you have some sidewalk at your house that needs replacing you can grind the glass fairly finely and put the shards in the mix. thats the glitter in the sidwalks in the city. or something along those lines.
Let them.
